Enlarged Erie Canal Lock No. 30 was a lift-lock on the Enlarged Erie Canal, built in 1841.
It was located just east of the Schoharie Creek Aqueduct. Owing to its condition and its
location in the middle of the village of Fort Hunter, it was pulled down in 1955, and no
trace of it remains today. |
